Students

We've teamed up with our friends over at GitHub to offer student developers access to free colocation services for the very first time.

We believe that all students should have fair access to the tools they need to succeed. This includes student developers, who often find the cost of most enterprise-grade hosting services prohibitive.

If you are budding student developer, with your own physical server hardware, GitHub Student Developer Pack members now have access to world-class data centre services, available for deployment at our award-winning London Central data centre.

You can learn more about this service and verify with us below using your Pack-enrolled GitHub account.

What is colocation?

A colocation service allows you to place your own physical server hardware inside of a data centre. This means that to use a colocation service, you need to have your own physical server. Examples of this would be a Dell R430, or an HP DL360.

Placing your own server into colocation means that it will benefit from the high-uptime redundancy engineered into the data centre, such as resilient power, carrier-grade connectivity, properly designed cooling systems, enhanced security and 24x7 technical support.

Please note: we do not provide the server, so it is important that you have your own physical server hardware to make use of this service.

Do you qualify for this service?
