Edge named Netwise as its core infrastructure and data centre service partner back in January 2018, while still operating under its original DADI brand, a position we’re still extremely proud to hold today.

Sitting under the surface of the world-leading Edge network is a proof of stake blockchain platform, powered by their very own $EDGE token. This ensures true ownership and control over their entire technology stack, from core to edge.

Since launch, Edge has gone on to become one of the most talked about operators in the technology sector, having tens of thousands of members in its pre-ICO Telegram group, going on to raise $29 million.

We were able to offer Edge critical support during their early conceptualisation, testing and launch phases, with both core backbone infrastructure in our data centres, and through exclusive access to physical workspace during the $EDGE token ICO.

Services have since extended from the primary core in London to nodes in 30+ locations around the world, all operating on Edge’s own ASN and IP estate, with the setup of advanced global BGP services handled by our expert team.

Given the nature of the Edge platform, and having the front-end deployed on end user devices, this service is perhaps the most comprehensive edge-based service ever put to market, with nodes on the Edge network sitting inside the end user layer.

Aside to their network, Edge are also responsible for the development of several standalone technologies, including Edit, a feature-rich content management system used by some of the world’s largest media brands (including the likes of Empire, Grazia and Heat).

Edge continue grow their platform and feature-set, with an unrelenting development roadmap that has seen explosive uptake. And with plenty more on the horizon as they continue to push the envelope every quarter, we couldn’t be more pleased to continue supporting them on this journey.
