BestPath came to Netwise in late 2019 with a relatively unique problem. They wanted to place their cutting-edge lab environment in a data centre, but were previously unable to find an operator that could properly support such a flexible, ever-changing workload.

Having engaged closely with the BestPath engineering team to better understand exactly what would be needed, we were able to come up with a colocation proposal that effectively took advantage of our month-to-month service flex options. This includes both power and bandwidth, scaling up and down as required, depending on lab utilisation.

This flexible approach to colocation allowed BestPath to deploy their world-class testing, automation and demo platform inside our London Central facility, enjoying lab-level convenience paired with robust data centre resilience.

We were also able to assist BestPath with the deployment of their hardware, given that this arrived with us during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our engineers were able to take direct delivery of the hardware, deploying this in their enclosures along with all structured cabling.

Placing this system in our facility also provides BestPath with direct round-the-clock access to our in-house engineering and technical support team. This enables rapid collaborative working methodologies on new projects, as complex adjustments to the lab setup can be handled remotely.
